Some people enjoy complaining about the state of the weather. I personally never found any grounds to complain concerning snow. Or just coldness in general.

The air is dry, clean, crisp. The ground becomes smooth, white, clean. Perfect, almost.

I wonder if anyone else feels that way.

...There really is a GOD GARD section of the library. ~~And here I thought anything that came out of that professor's mouth would be drunken illusions.~~ It's a rather obscure and small section, but it's still there. It doesn't look like it's been touched in awhile, however.

Also, I have a question: Can anyone explain to me the concept of hitsuzen? It was... brought up in a conversation, and so now I'm vaguely curious.

EDIT: ...by the way... does this cat come with a name or am I just going to have to think of something on my own?

Halloween Party

I can't believe I'm actually considering dressing up and going to a Halloween party. Isn't that something that one was supposed to grow out of in middle school?

The biggest problem at the moment is my lack of ideas for a viable costume. I'm not going to be wearing anything inane. So that rules out a lot of options.

And dancing? I hardly know anyone here that well to formally dance with them. Or are we talking more of that spastic, gyrating, ridiculous "dancing", which is probably more obscene than anything else?

Maybe I'd be better off studying in my dorm that night, anyway. A prospect such as that doesn't sound too bad.

Swimming class was today, and I can't say I really learned all that much from it. I grabbed something to eat at the cafe, came back to my dorm, and took a shower. The smell of chlorine, after awhile, starts to give me a headache.

There's not much to do in my dorm, though. I don't have anything to study, since my other classes haven't started yet. I felt... bored. And eventually, I found myself making my way down to the library, where I'm typing this out right now.

It's very... quiet in here. Even though it was relatively quiet in my dorm, I think I prefer the library atmosphere moreso. And I must admit, I've never seen such an impressive library. There must be books on every subject you can imagine.

I think I might check out some Nietzsche again, if I can find someone who works here.

...also, both Ryuuzaki and Matsuda are attending Moksa U, too. That would usually make things a bit more complicated, but for some odd reason, they don't seem to recognize me. At all. ~~Maybe this is something I can use to my advantage? I'd have to figure out how, though.~~

But I still don't understand why. This is just very unexpected. Maybe I'll just pretend that I don't know them, either. There's no need to make things harder than they need be, after all.

Swimming is mandatory. I already know how to swim. ~~Is it possible to just test out of the course?~~

I finally found my dorm, and met my roommate in the process. He seems like a nice guy. ~~if somewhat spastic~~. It'll be a different experience, to say the least.

Anyway, Sex Ed is a required course? I would think that college students would understand how stuff like that works by now. ~~I'm actually more weirded out by the professor than anything else...~~

Guess that takes up the last slot in my class schedule, then. Decided to take some things that I'm familiar with and some things that I'm not. The best way to reinforce what skills I have and learn new ones. So:

Accidental Enrollment

...Damn.

I didn't expect this to happen. I was accepted into some university I wasn't even planning on going to in the first place.

The classes sound intriguing, though, now that I'm fairly certain that this place is real. Maybe some good will come out of this. Some advantage I could bring home whenever I get back.

But now, I'm still a little disoriented. This campus is surprisingly massive. Where exactly am I?
